Utah Congressional Delegation Voices Support for DCA Act

The Utah Congressional delegation has announced its full support of the Direct Capital Access (DCA) Act, legislation to add 28 additional in-and beyond-perimeter flights at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA) in the 2023 Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Reauthorization bill. Senator Romney today joined on as co-sponsor of the Senate’s version of the DCA Act, which was originally introduced by Rep. Owens (R-UT) in the House.

Senator Romney and Lee’s University of Utah Research Park Act passed the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee on a unanimous vote. This bill would preserve the University of Utah’s nearly 600-acre research park and avoid possible action by the Bureau of Land Management to repurpose the land. Research Park is a center for research and development serving both the University and the local workforce.

Romney started the day at OxEon Energy in North Salt Lake, where he toured the firm’s facility and met with employees.
